There a few mistakes many lace wig/cranial prostheses clients make.

Many hair lace wig wearers will order too much density in their hair system thinking it can be thinned out later. Unfortunately this is not always the case.  Thinning out the density from a hair system will leave tiny stubble against the base and creates an unnatural, rough feel when you run your fingers through the hair. Instead, it's best to choose a lighter density.

Order enough hairline recession Having a disproportionate frontal hairline recession (to your age and hair style) is a common indication that you might be wearing a hairpiece. Determining the proper recession for your hair system is a matter of following the line/pattern of where you’re padded facial tissue ends and your less-padded cranial tissue begins.

Place the system in the proper position: over the years of wearing hair, many people will gradually begin to place the system too far forward on their head. This is another common mistake. You probably already know about the "4 fingers above the eyebrow" rule. Unfortunately this isn't always accurate because forehead size and finger width can vary greatly from person to person. Instead, proper hair system placement is more an issue of determining where you’re facial and cranial tissue meet. To duplicate nature and ensure your system is placed in the correct position, it should start about 1/2" from where your facial tissue ends.

Finding your facial and cranial tissue is easy:
Next time your hair system is off, begin by raising your eyebrows, as if your eyes are wide open. Next, closely examine the upper part of your forehead in a mirror.  It's easy to discern facial tissue from cranial tissue because you should be able to see and feel a difference in the amount of padding. Facial tissue is better padded than cranial, which has very little padding.

We can not exchange any wig that have bin altered in any way. Wig must be returned in the original condition it was received in.  All wigs are none refundable and we can do not exchange custom made wigs/units. We can not and will not refund for any wig that have bin worn for several months.  You can expect your stock lace wig to last you up to six-month with proper care.  It is also best that you have at least two lace wigs as this will help to prolong the life of each wig.  As with your own hair you will experience some shedding.  Unfortunately unlike your own hair it can not and will not grow back but they can be repaired. When in doughty ask.  We are available to answer your questions via email or phone.  We try to respond to inquires n 24 hours or sooner, please make note of email address and phone number for future reference.

You are not to let water and or makeup get on your lace wig/unit with in the first 24 hours of having your unit installed.  If makeup gets in to the glue it will dry the color of your make up and can only be fix if at all by removing the wig and having your lace wig stylist clean wig for you.(you may have to send wig in for repair, we repair lace wigs/units, replace lace, add hair etc.)

Grooming is best carried out using either a vent brush and or wide tooth comb. These styling tools are gentle on the hair causing less pressure on the hair knots, reducing shedding. When encountering   tangles comb or brush hair gently, avoiding abrasive brushing or pulling on hair.  Correct product usage will prolong the wigs life with color protection products and regular deep conditioning is essential.  Most importantly, low chemical, color protection shampoos should be used to keep color leakage and dryness to a minimum.

We recommend that you do not wash your lace wig more than once a week. It is best if you can let hair dry naturally or have it wet set, if you must blow dry; try not to pull on hair too much. It is also important that you use a knot sealer product (not needed for the glue free custom made lace wigs) every time you wash your lace wig. This will help to prolong the life of your lace wig.

What type of hair care products should I use?

Treat this hair like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. You can also use products like gel and hair spray to keep the curls in place, but make sure to wash your hair and do not leave in these products for a long period’s time.  Anything that would damage your own hair can and most likely will damage your lace wig/unit.

 Can I color this hair?

This hair is 100%   human so you can color the hair. PLEASE NOTE, WE DO NOT GURANTEE the out come of hair color changes made by you, your clients and or stylist.  We will not be able to refund or exchange any wig that have bin altered/colored, cut etc. No two strands of hair are alike and as such no two wigs are exactly alike. Bleaching or dying the wigs will have various color changes.  We recommend that you purchase the wigs in the color you would like, two tone, bleached blonds, streaks etc. Bleaching and or dying any human hair will change/alter the texture of the hair and your wig/unit will never look or feel the same after color change. As your own hair you will have to deep condition hair that have bin colored each time you wash your wig/unit.

Can I Swim in Lace Front Wigs and Full Lace Wigs?

YES, the lace wig is just like your regular hair so you can do all normal activities with it on such as swimming, showering, sweating, etc. The only time you should not get it wet is the first 24 hours after applying the unit. Be sure to discuss your lifestyle/routine with your stylist so he or she can use the products best that will best suit your lifestyle example working our regularly etc
